At SCG Spa all injections are administered by one of our aesthetically trained registered nurses in a private setting. All injections are approved by our supervising physician for our patient’s safety. We consult with each patient individually to determine the injectables appropriate for their beauty goals.
BOTOX® / DYSPORT®
Botox®/Dysport® are different brand names of FDA approved solutions that are injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of lines and wrinkles you get from overuse of the same muscles.
DERMAL FILLERS
An injection used to correct wrinkles from loss of tissue volume. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally hydrating substance which adds volume to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
PLATLET RICH PLASMA (PRP/PRFM) / EZGel®
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets and fibrin for skin rejuvenation, sexual health and hair restoration.
PDO THREADS
Absorbable surgical sutures placed into the subdermal layer of the skin to initiate collagen production which can result in increased firmness and elasticity of the skin in the treated area.
KYBELLA®
Kybella is a nonsurgical option and the only FDA approved injection to eliminate submental fullness, or double chin.
VITRASE
An injection used to increase the absorbtion and distribution of prevoiusly injected medication creating a reversal effect.
SMOOTHE WRINKLES
Botox® & Dysport®
Botox®/Dysport® are different brand names of FDA approved solutions that are injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of lines and wrinkles you get from overuse of the same muscles. The Botox®/Dysport® solution is injected with a tiny needle into the overused muscle, allowing that muscle to relax. Benefits should develop over the next 5-10 days. Two weeks post-treatment, there will be a visible decrease in the appearance of lines around the injection site that can last 3 plus months.
Everyone’s response to Botox®/Dysport® treatment is unique and dependent on their individual metabolism, muscle strength, and anatomy. Whether you raise your eyebrows constantly, glare or force your smile down, Botox®/Dysport® injections can temporarily improve the look of those lines and wrinkles. Facial muscles have a dominant side, which could result in more treatment being needed to weaken the stronger facial muscles in order achieve symmetry.
Look happier and more refreshed when the harsh lines and wrinkles are softened and smoothed away.

RESTORE VOLUME
Dermal Fillers
Wrinkles and lines in the face that are not caused by muscle movement are probably due to volume loss. Dermal Filler injections consist of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance within the skin. As facial tissue thins with age, lines and wrinkles appear around the nose and mouth, and cheeks can begin to seem hollow. Hyaluronic acid replaces the volume lost in the face by smoothing wrinkles, softening creases, plumping lips or enhancing facial contours. There are various different types of dermal fillers used for different areas of the face, based upon their density and texture. Dermal filler, hyaluronic acid, injections are used to replace the volume loss with a natural hydrating substance. Most dermal fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during treatment.
Dermal Fillers can be used in the lips to replace volume loss as you age or to make those who have very thin lips, have plump lips and can help even out the lips. Dermal Fillers can also be used to fill in the volume loss that many experience around the nose and mouth, causing marionette lines. Want the look of high cheek bones? Dermal Fillers placed above the cheek bone gives you beautiful, full cheeks. Dermal Fillers can also be used to fill in the jowls.
The results are visible immediately and last 12 to 18 months.

REGENERATE & REJUVENATE
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP & PRFM)
Platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) is composed of a patient’s own cross-linked fibrin and platelets, which is then applied to the treatment area. Platelets initiate and promote healthy, functional tissue generation while the fibrin matrix confines the tissue regeneration to the desired area.
The number of treatments required varies for each patient. It is determined by their desired outcome and treatment plan developed with medical staff.
EZGel®
The patient’s blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge, separating the blood into a supernatant plasma/platelet suspension. The albumin-rich plasma is heated while the platelet-rich fibrin is cooled, before being combined to create a flexible gel free of chemical components. EZGel® is then injected in the desired treatment area(s). Platelets initiate and promote healing within the body while the fibrin matrix confines the tissue regeneration to the desired area. This causes an increase in collagen production and vascularization, resulting in overall skin improvements. Appropriate treatment options can include hair regeneration, diminishing wrinkles, folds, divots, and acne scars, or increasing volume under the eyes as necessary. Local anesthetics are available prior to treatment for pain relief.
The number of treatments required varies for each patient. It is determined by their desired outcome and treatment plan developed with medical staff. Results of EZGel® treatment are gradual and typically occur over 5 to 7 weeks.
Those who smoke may have less of a response to EZGel® treatment, as toxins in smoke block the response of stem cells.
HAIR RESTORATION
PRP/PRFM injected into the scalp to help regenerate the hair follicles.
MICRONEEDLING
PRP/PRFM microneedled into the skin to regenerate skin cells and collagen.
NON SURGICAL FACELIFT
PDO Threads
PDO Threads treatment uses absorbable surgical sutures placed into the subdermal layer of the skin to initiate collagen production and lift sagging skin. This procedure can result in increased firmness and elasticity of the skin in the treated area. PDO Threads are effective in most cases; however, there is no guarantee a specific patient will benefit from the procedure. The nature of cosmetic procedures may require a patient to return for numerous visits to achieve the desired results or to determine whether the treatment may be effective at treating the particular condition.
DISSOLVE FAT
Kybella®
Kybella is a nonsurgical option and the only FDA approved injection to eliminate submental fullness, or double chin. Synthetic deoxycholic acid is the active ingredient in Kybella as well as a naturally occurring molecule in the body. Deoxycholic acid assists the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When Kybella is injected directly into the fullness under the chin, the acid destroys the fat cells. Once destroyed, these fat cells can no longer accumulate or store fat. The body’s natural metabolism processes and eliminates the fat.
Kybella treatment consists of multiple small injections under the chin. The number of injections varies from person to person; it can be influenced by the amount of fat under the chin and the patient’s desired end goal. Kybella can also be used to treat other areas such as bra fat, love handles, arms, ankles and knees.
Most patients will require more than one treatment. The exact course of treatment varies from person to person as well. Additional Kybella treatments must be at least one month apart. Once the patient has achieved their desired profile, no further treatments are needed, as the fat cells have been permanently destroyed.
Initial consultations are encouraged to determine if Kybella is the best course of treatment. Consultations and treatments are with a registered nurse.
REVERSE EFFECTS
Vitrase
Vitrase is injected to increase dispersion and absorption of injected dermal fillers, thus causing a reverse effect. Most commonly used on a patient who is unsatisfied with the look achieved by current dermal fillers.
