Eyelash extensions are a great way to add length, fullness and thickness to your natural lashes.
At SCG Skin Rejuvenation eyelash extensions are applied hair by hair to your own lashes for a totally natural look using medical grade adhesive.
When properly applied, and cared for, lashes can last up to six weeks. Touch-ups are recommended after initial full set application to replace lashes that have shed or emerged. Properly applied lashes will last for the natural growth cycle of each eyelash.
Care must be taken to not rub eyes, or scratch. Any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions, or cleansers containing oils can loosen the bond of the extensions. Care must be taken to apply cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
Water soluble mascara can be worn; however, constant use of mascara will shorten the life span of your lashes. Waterproof mascara will DISSOLVE the bond with the eyelash extensions and must not be used.
If necessary, lash extensions can be professionally removed by a lash stylist using an adhesive remover. Never try to remove lash extensions on your own.
How long do they last?
Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. Because each person’s lashes grow at a different rate, lash maintenance every three to four weeks is suggested to maintain a full look.
How often do I need to touch up?
Since each lash extension is attached to a single eyelash, they will fall out naturally along with the natural growth cycle of each lash. We recommend a touch-up every three to four weeks.
Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged?
It is a MYTH that eyelash extensions ruin your own lashes. They will not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. At SCG Skin Rejuvenation we use high quality, safe materials to ensure the health of your natural lashes.
Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the eyelash extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes. If lashes are applied properly and to each individual lash, they won’t fall out.
